There are lots of adsense formats but..,wider ad format are successful because ads are easy to read top three adsesne formats are,,

* 336×280 large rectangle
* 300×250 inline rectangle
* 160×600 wide skyscraper

Successful adsense colour and font size

1)It’s proved and its really work,use the same colour of your page background for the border and the background of the add it look nice and also perform well.

2)Use same colours used in your page for adsense ad title,text and url link.some senoiurs blogger suggest to use this add colour format (title=red , Text=black , url=green)personally i like these v.good colour format look cool.

3)Dont try to separate the ad from the content integrate it within the content for example (in,within,next to,beside,above,below etc)

4)Make sure that 1st add unit displayed in the best location near the content.
